Discovering Birmingham - Positively Birmingham Tour No. 3 We use a live audio system - the guide wears a transmitter and our guests wear a receiver. You hear every word even if you are well away making it perfect for social distancing. Understand how Birmingham developed and see that many of today’s ways of working have deep roots in our past. A real investigation into today's city in the context of the history of this centre of the industrial revolution now facing up to the future in a determined way. This 2 hour walking tour gives a great introduction to the city and will be of interest equally to local people and visitors alike. Tours start/finish: Library of Birmingham front entrance

• Our live audio system allows a social distance of at least 2m between individuals. In fact you can be much further away if you wish. If you do not bring your own earphones with a 3.5mm jack we provide a new pair that you keep at the end. Routes selected to keep away from crowded areas of the city.

Start location : Sunday tour starts 13:30 at: Front entrance of the new Library of Birmingham in Centenary Square, B1 2EA. Please arrive 5-10 min before departure time. Tour is 1 3/4 hour appoximately and finishes back at Library of Birmingham.

Special Instructions :
Sundays 13:30 - 15:15. Ticket includes the tour and the loan of the audio receiver so you can hear the live tour guide perfectly. Please bring a pair of earphones with a 3.5mm jack if you can. Otherwise we can provide a new pair (£1 donation).
