Spend a day in Wadi Rum desert! Only 1.5 hours distant from Petra, this is a chance to experience a part of this vast landscape with two different activities. You start riding on back of a camel for 2 hours,  the authentic way to feel like a Bedouin.  After lunch at a campsite take a 3 hours jeep ride, the quickest way to explore the area. You see rock inscriptions, sand dunes and a rock bridge. This private tour lasts about 9 hours and includes the pickup and drop off from any hotel in Petra.
