This easy but active 23+ mile bike tour is catered for riders who want a good mix of nature, some flat street riding (only 3.8 miles total), more nature, then a stop for lunch and drinks. This is a 4-hour tour along Lady Bird Lake hike-n-bike, the Boardwalk, East Austin paved neighborhood streets, and the Walnut Creek Trail, which is paved and traffic free for 7 miles out and 7 back. This is an awesome tour, with only one massive hill, and a break for snacks and drinks on the way back. *Food and drink not included. Not recommended for children under 12.
Start location : Meet under I-35 bridge next to Holiday Inn. On lady bird lake trail, exit Holly, then park for free under the bridge on the downtown(north) side, also free parking East of I-35 near the bridge. Only a 5-10 min walk from Rainey St. End location : Meet under I-35 bridge next to Holiday Inn.
