After leaving the small town of El Chalten, you will reach the valley of the Del Salto stream in the direction of Mount Fitz Roy. The road winds along the side of the glacially formed valley, offering a wonderful view. You will go through part of the Patagonian forest, made up mostly of Lengas and Ñires trees. During the tour you can see Magellan Woodpeckers and from Laguna Capri you get fantastic views of Mount Fitz Roy in the distance. You can sit on the beaches of the lagoon to contemplate and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You travel the same way to return to El Chaltén. This trekking is done from October to April.
