Only 12 miles from Progreso, the archaeological site of Dzibilchaltún is one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Mayan world followed by free time at the beach  You will start this fun-filled day when you meet your friendly, bilingual guide at the cruise ship terminal or hotel from Progreso or Merida. You'll be shown to comfortable and air-conditioned transportation for the 40-minute drive to the ruin site. Once you are at the Dzibilchaltun Mayan Ruins, you'll follow your guide through what was once the largest cities in ancient Mesoamerica.
