The tour is made comfortably in a jeep Land Rover properly equipped for the purpose and is perfect for those who want to have a off-road experience in São Miguel Island. Starting in Ponta Delgada we´ll drive towards Vila Franca do Campo in the south coast of the island. Then we´ll continue on our way to Lagoa das Furnas where the famous Furnas stew is made. In the meanwhile it´s time to taste the famous stew at a local restaurant. After lunch, the centenary garden Parque Terra Nostra will be waiting for us, as well as the Caldeiras das Furnas and the famous Pico do Ferro viewpoint. The local tea factory of Gorrena and the Santa Iria viewpoint are the last touristic attractions of this tour that will delight your experience. NOTE: a minimum of 2 persons is required.
