Home to sloths, howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, caimans, toucans, bats and much more, the Peñas Blancas River is ideal for passing half a day floating down a calm river observing wildlife and learning about the flora and fauna of the surrounding tropical rain forest.  Your experienced guide will make sure you take home plenty of wildlife photos and a vast knowledge of Costa Rica´s natural history.  You will be invited to enjoy homemade Costa Rican snacks such as fried plantains and organic cheese at a local family run farm with a refreshing glass of natural juice or a delicious cup of Costa Rican coffee to end your day.  All our tours are small and personalized or private to give you the best customer service and to inflict as little environmental damage as possible.
