If you like bird watching and hiking this is the perfect tour. We meet early to have the best chances for successful observation. We fuel you up with gourmet pastries from Henrietta's Pine Bakery. HD binoculars are provided to each participant. Our guide on this program is a five year company veteran who is an accomplished amateur ornithologist. Since he grew up locally, and spends all his free time birding, he is the best way to learn about the 270+ birds that inhabit Algonquin Park. You will meet your guide at west gate entrance of Algonquin for 6:20am. Trail options (easy - challenging) will be discussed and you will follow the guide to the chosen destination. Tour runs 7-10am. Up to 4 participants are included in base price. Additional participants (9 max.) are possible @ $59CAD, plus tax. Contact us to arrange after booking. Age 8+. High quality photos are included. Logistics Instructions

Start location : In the west gate parking lot, there is a very large birch bark style sign. Our guide will be waiting at 6:30am, outside his car, in front of that sign. He will be wearing his guiding vest with Canadian flag logo. The West Gate of Algonquin Park is at km 0.0 of Highway 60. The West Gate is 43.6 km east (on Highway 60) of the junctions of Highways 11 & 60 in Dwight, Ontario. GPS: 45°26'31.8"N 78°49'12.8"W

- Tour goes rain or shine, so please wear proper clothing & shoes (no flip-flops).
