Thousands of years back, Thyme, or "Zaatar" as a plant was used widely for medical and religious purposes. Locals of As-salt to prepare different local plants to prepare their food storage of the year which is called "Mooneh". In As-salt they compete on who is the lady considered the best in preparing 'Mooneh". In this touristic agricultural experience, you will meet Um Hasan and she will teach you how to make your authentic Zaatar mix.
