Together with our local host, you’ll discover the history of East Berlin, weaving together its past and present identity by visiting profound landmarks like Tränenpalast, Checkpoint Charlie, and more contemporary spaces like the East Side Gallery. You’ll explore the historic landmarks of this famous area, see where the Berlin Wall fell and discover some secret spots like local flea markets and independent bookstores which have all contributed to the reshaping of an area once characterized only by the scars of WWII. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host.
