PRIVATE TOUR The fortified evangelical church of Sânpetru was erected in 1794 on the foundation of an older church, completely demolished when its tower collapsed for the second time. The classic building was completed in 1817 with a new tower. The interior of the church is organized in a classic style unit, from the organ to the pillars decorated with parisons and to the altar with choir columns. Of the 3 rows of fortification walls from the 15th century, some remains of the outer wall and the second wall are preserved. The interior wall is fully preserved with five towers and bastions and with the buildings supported from the inside, with two levels, intended for storing supplies. Later, inside the wall, to the south, the old school and the old town hall were integrated. The northern tower appeared by the overbuilding of a 13th-century chapel, before the Protestant Reformation in which a cycle of frescoes in bright colors dating from around 1400 is preserved. [3]
