In the second day you will discover Rupea citadel - which is one of the oldest and best-conserved medieval sites in Romania, archaeological excavations showing the first signs of human settlements are dating from the Paleolithic and early Neolithic and Prejmer fortress - the largest fortified church in southeastern Europe, built by the Teutonic knights in 1212-1213. Our guide will present you the history of medieval defense structures, how people used to defeat the enemies and how this ended up being part of our Romanian culture.
