Let me know what kind of coffee or drink would you prefer before the tour! :) During the tour we visit the Great Synagogue followed by a short walk to discover the hidden and untold stories of the current VII. district. Throughout the tour I explain the history of Jewry in the Carpathian basin, beginning from the 2nd century, through the tragedy of the Holocaust, till present day. Then we pause to admire the beauty of the Orthodox synagogue. We deep dive into the Jewish culture and experience the eclectic mix of the past and present. There are some kosher restaurants and bars to try, not to mention the (in)famous ruin bars of the district. The amazing Jewish-Hungarian cake named flódni is my treat at the end of our tour!
