Trek to the unspoiled interior of Catalina Island in an open-air vehicle for breathtaking and panoramic views of the coast, the canyons, and even the formidable bison. This 2.5-hour outback journey departs conveniently from the boat landing and takes visitors on a sightseeing adventure to the rugged interior. Isolated coves, pristine beaches, and broad valleys where wild bison roam freely beckon as you travel deep into the back country and high up all the way to the Airport in the Sky. Your naturalist guide will point out these highlights as well as native plants and animals that make Catalina so unique. Have your cameras at the ready because besides wild bison, you may also have the pleasure of seeing wild boar, black crow and the Channel Island fox. Look to the skies to glimpse majestic bald eagles as they soar over this ocean oasis.
