Once your driver picks you up at your accommodation (or airport/in the port) you can start your trip to the Peljesac peninsula. Arboretum Trsteno is the oldest monument of park architecture in Croatia. It was founded in 1498 on the country estate of the Dubrovnik noble family Gučetić-Gozze. It stretches over 28.5 hectares and has a collection of more than 400 species of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. Arboretum Trsteno has been protected since October 27, 1962, by a decision of the Institute for Nature Protection. Your next stop is Ston, a beautiful place best known for it's Salt Work and the second longest city walls in the world.
