Furthermore, the tower has a 297 step spiral staircase leading to the top, and is not recommended for visitors with back or heart problems and pregnant women. For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 are not permitted to enter. An adult must accompany under 18s. Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower; you will pay the tickets cash to the guide in Florence.
