Beaufort's National Historic Landmark District, the second oldest city in South Carolina, delights its visitors with breathtakingly beautiful natural vistas and impressive architecture from the Colonial and Antebellum Eras. The town of Beaufort is located on the island of Port Royal and is called the Queen of the South Carolina Sea Islands due to its charm, natural beauty, fascinating history, and richly diverse cultural heritage. On this tour we will spend around 2 hours exploring the historic district. Enjoy refreshments, tales and songs of history from guides dressed in full period costumes.
