The Rio Lagartos Reserve is a natural place that is home to many types of flora and fauna, including birds, American flamingos and crocodiles, as well as being one of the most important natural reserves in Mexico. Within the reserve there are some pink lagoons in a dream, the color is caused by the reproduction of the Artemia Salina, this microorganism is responsible for feeding the American Flamingos that nest and reproduce in the reserve.
