Mapungubwe national park located on the confluence of Shashe and the Limpopo river . When the Limpopo River is not in flood, they roam freely across it to Botswana and Zimbabwe and back. Current species include; elephant, hippopotamus, white rhinoceros, lion, leopard, cheetah, Cape wild dog, spotted hyena, brown hyena, eland, blue wildebeest, kudu, zebra, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, klipspringer, duiker, steenbok, red hartebeest, oryx, giraffe, warthog, bush pig, aardvark and baboon.
