On this day trip from Kathmandu you will go to Champadevi, the eastern summit of the southwestern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. Champadevi is elevated 7,496 feet (2,285 meters) above the sea level and is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the Hindu and Buddhist religions. It is another equally best, easy, short enjoyable hike in the southern hill of Kathmandu valley. Experience of walking through the lush pine forest on well develop trail is really wonderful experience. The trail goes gradually uphill for about half an hour towards the north ridge and then ascends further through the beautiful forest to Champadevi. Most of the walk is along the ridge and offers a spectacular bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu valley and mountains. From here we can enjoy the superb view of central and western Himalayan range including Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Jugal, Dorge Lakpa and many others.
