Private walking tour which retraces the Road to Janowska from near the historic Jewish Ghetto area to the grim environs of Janowska camp, delapidated Prison #30 of Ukraine today. Learn about the pre-war buildings of Polish Lwów en route beside which we compare historic photos of very large groups of people being transported to execution sites (Janowska, and several others) with modern Lviv. You will stand in the same places where Jews and many others from different backgrounds and cultures stood before walking or being transported to certain death. This is an emotionally taxing experience so ready yourself - much of Lviv has NOT changed since World War II. Lviv Holocaust: Road to Janowska is part of the Lviv Holocaust project. All monies received for this tour goes towards research and acquisition of evidential materials after we have paid our local expert Lviv Holocaust guide.
