We invite you to spend a half of the day in a quiet and peaceful provincial Russian town of Sergiev Posad. The life of the inhabitants of the town is centred around the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, a unique monastic ensemble of Russian Orthodoxy from the 15th to the 19th centuries. It's the most important functioning monastery in Russia and the spiritual center of Russian Orthodox Christianity. UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. During the excursion you will have a chance to learn about the history of the monastery, peculiarities of monks' life, to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beauty of monastery architecture. Going there and back by train you will escape traffic jams and will return on time back in Moscow. Our English speaking assistant will take care of you during the tour.
