On this Walking tour to the Salto do Cabrito Waterfall, we will take you to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island of São Miguel, located in the central area of the island of São Miguel, we will take the opportunity to explore some of the natural fauna and flora and get to know the Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande which is also a place rich in volcanic activity, due to its fumaroles there. In a circular route, of medium difficulty, we will make known to our customers, the dam of the Salto do Cabrito hydroelectric power station, the old and the new hydroelectric power station, where we will cross small forests rich in cryptomeria, metal bridges, streams and know the area where the Geothermal power plants on the island of São Miguel are installed.
