Since long ago Cēsis is known as the town rich with its cultural and historical heritage, art treasures and excellent cultural traditions and it has not been concealed from the eyes of travelers. Cesis origins are connected to the Medieval castle, around which in the 13th century a town was built. During this tour, you will have guided sightseeing walk in the castle by feeling the charming aura and enjoying the medieval time period. Guide will escort you through the castle garden, discover the castle from its courtyard, feel the historic aura, climb the Western tower using lanterns and descend down to the old jail.
