If you are looking for fun around the snow, you must visit Farellones, Chile’s first ski center and town. In a privileged location over the Santiago valley and only 32 kilometers from the city, you can enjoy a trip on the chairlift, sliding down the mountain on a sled, or the outdoor adrenalin activity “Tubing” designed both for adults and children (minimum height 1.2 meters). The Tubing takes place on an individual donut shaped rubber inner tube which slides down snow tracks and then is transported back up the mountain. Later following the mountain road you will visit El Colorado which has become one of the most popular ski resorts amongst Chileans for skiing and snowboarding.
