Join your local host Noriko in her spacious kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience. Noriko will teach you how to cook an authentic, homemade Japanese meal from scratch, using fresh, seasonal produce locally sourced in Hokkaido. Learn Japanese cooking techniques of chopping, marination and frying from an expert before enjoying the meal you helped prepare on beautiful Japanese dishes. Noriko is keen to share her knowledge of food and different cuisines - so feel free to ask her all your questions!  Your menu may include dishes such as shabu-shabu (Japanese hot pot with a variety of meat and vegetables) and chirashi-sushi (a rice bowl with fresh salmon, tender fried chicken, green peppers, and the occasional mapo tofu!). Visit Noriko's home, experience a delightful homemade Japanese meal, and learn about Japan in a way you would never be able to if you simply ate at a restaurant!
