On this 4-hour tour you will discover hidden corners of Siena and all its secrets. You will visit the four most important churches of mendicant orders in Siena: Basilica of San Domenico, Church of St. Agostino, Basilica of Santa Maria dei Servi and Basilica of San Francesco. The mendicant orders settled in Siena in the 13th century to the edge of the city, so as to build very large churches to welcome numerous faithful. These churches are placed in strategics positions, each in a cardinal point. You will thus have the opportunity to tour the whole city and to admire unique panoramic points. The churches are architecturally very interesting, typical Gothic and inside are kept great artworks from Sienese artists such as Guido da Siena, the brothers Lorenzetti, Sodoma, Francesco Vanni, Matteo di Giovanni. They are waiting for you, come and admire them!
