Built in 1867, with its unique location and the remarkable Italian Renaissance style, Kursalon counts to one of the most exclusive buildings in Vienna. The Strauss brothers celebrated their greatest successes in this building and dances and promenade concerts filled this house with waltz enchantment and joie de vivre. On 15th of February 2020, Kursalon will again open its doors for the traditional Johann Strauss Ball. This time, the glittering ball night will be all about Viennese flair. Famous Vienna landmarks will thematically inspire the highlights of the program, including the exquisite gala dinner, the splendid ball opening as well as the midnight show.
