This striking building, former Astoria Cinema, is a newly-built hotel (2009) and surprises by its peculiarity and warm decoration. Each of its 102 unique rooms is dedicated to a film star that has participated in San Sebastian's International Festival. Detaching itself from the standardisation in the industry, the property, dedicated to cinema, pays homage to the long-lasting, status and cultural influence of this event. The hotel offers a fitness room inagurated in 2010.The hotel does not provide restaurant service but the snack bar and breakfast service is provided. The symbolic Astoria Cinema in San Sebastian has been rebuilt to house the city's first contemporary styled hotel.
