The rooms are all large and in grand style with elegant, traditional furniture and decor. Most have huge windows commanding lovely views over the lake, though some look across the rooftops and up to the hills behind the city. Although it's some time since the last renovation both the rooms and the grand bathrooms are in good condition.The restaurant is on the ground floor off the lobby. It is a grand high-ceilinged room with enormous windows overlooking the lake.This is a lovely traditional Grand Hotel with an imposing facade.The lobby is medium-sized and manages to be cosy,welcoming and elegant at the same time.This is one of Zurich's finest Grand hotels.
