The historic lodge, which was refurbished in 2007, remains the heart of the resort. It comprises a total of 85 rooms located in cabins which surround the main lodge, some of which overlook the lake. Built with hand-hewn timber and featuring massive stone fireplaces, the charming hotel offers a formal dining room, quiet reading and sitting rooms, conference facilities and a games room. The lounge is enhanced by an oak bar salvaged from an 1890's Yukon saloon. The views from the upper or lower large verandas are breath-taking. As in the past, this hotel proudly welcomes those in search of the extraordinary. Further facilities in the hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a cloakroom, café, bar, restaurant, Internet access and a car park.
This charming hotel, which is known as the Jewel of the Rockies, sits on a 5 hectare peninsula overlooking the Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. It is just 20 minutes from Lake Louise and 40 minutes from Kicking Horse/Golden. The town centre is just a 12-minute drive away. Guests are surrounded by water and a landscape so beautiful it will leave them breathless.
A continental breakfast buffet is offered in the mornings. Lunch and dinner can be chosen à la carte or from the set menu.
