The city hotel was built in 1953 and was completely renovated in 2001. It consists of a total of 214 rooms on 7 floors. The hotel's facilities include a pleasant lobby with a 24-hour reception, a conference room, a cloakroom, lifts, a hairdresser's salon, a car park and a garage for an additional fee. Dining options include a café, an inviting bar and 2 air-conditioned restaurants ("Epoque by Meliá" a la carte and "El restaurante del Fenix" for breakfast) each with a separate non-smoking area. In addition there is an Internet terminal, room service, laundry service as well as medical assistance available. The welcome area is superb. A round room is decorated with marble floors and squared columns all around.
