Built as a classic ski mountain lodge in 1981, and comprising 50 rooms, the hotel has a European style. The Café at this charming ski hotel is a fantastic gourmet restaurant offering carefully constructed cuisine using many local ingredients. This hotel is located in a ski-in location at the Whitefish Mountain Resort just above Whitefish, Montana and right by the snow bus stop. The area is very scenic with much natural beauty. During winter it has the convenience of being located slope-side and off the beaten track yet is within an hour's drive of Glacier National Park in the summer. It is the western gateway of Glacier National Park (57.3 km) where active outdoor adventure prevails with art, history and all the attractions of a charming western town added to the experience. Guests will find Whitefish Amtrak railway station and Whitefish Lake 11.2 km away and it is 48.2 km to Flathead Lake.
