Guests staying at the Kyjev are sure to appreciate the hotel´s proximity to Bratislava´s Old Town quarters, and their offering of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities. The Kyjev Hotel has no airs and graces and is better suited to travellers without major expectations of a 2 *+ hotel! It is housed in a large 70´s style, socialist-era high-rise block, which in itself, makes for an interesting stay! The large lobby leads guests into the open plan bar and restaurant area where a hot and cold buffet-style breakfast is served to all guests. Accommodation is simple if a little dated, and some rooms from the higher floors afford great views of Bratislava and its castle. For those visitors travelling on a budget, but looking for a central location with a clean bed, they can´t go wrong with the Kyjev! (Locally classified as a 3* h Medium sized lobby, with dark marble floors and brown and black furnishings. There are a few chairs opposite reception for sitting however there is very little natural light.
