The hotel opened its doors in September 2007 to become a luxury hotel in El Calafate, the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia, Argentina. Its style recreates the spirit of hospitality and refinement of the large ranches of the early 20th century by combining Creole influences with European features and a nature park with willows and rose hip traversed by the Calafate stream, where nature lives. With a total of 39 guest rooms on offer, the air-conditioned establishment welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service and features a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. Guests may dine in the café or restaurant and sip their favourite drink in the bar. Furthermore, WLAN Internet access, room service, a car park and a garage are provided.
The hotel offers a privileged location in the heart of El Calafate, with splendid views of the Cerro Calafate and Argentino Lake.
A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning and lunch may be selected à la carte.
