This is an excellent place to stay while in Kaikoura. Central to the town centre and also to the many activities on offer, for example; whale watching , swimming with dolphins, wine tours and Maori cultural tours. A fantastic room with unparalleled views . There is a medium sized lobby area with comfortable seating. The large windows face the Ocean across the road.

Directly opposite the Pacific Ocean and within one kilometre to the centre of Kaikoura town. Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours drive north of Christchurch. Travelling from the North, Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours drive from Picton. There is also a daily train service- TranzCoastal- to Kaikoura from either Christchurch or Picton.
