This castle-hotel is an imposing Victorian building surrounded by a hectare of picturesque countryside. It comprises a total of 19 rooms, an entrance hall, an award-winning kitchen and a traditional bar, which has magnificent oak panelling throughout and offers guests an excellent selection of local whiskies. The castle is located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It is an ideal base from which to take advantage of the many activities on offer in the area, such as fishing in the loch, whisky tasting and dolphin and seal watching. The cities of Inverness and Dornach are less than an hour away. In Dornach there are numerous golf courses, such as the famous Dornach links.

Local produce is always used and everything served is made by hand. The Highlands of Scotland offer the finest venison, poultry, game, wild salmon, trout and the freshest vegetables picked from hotel's garden.
