This Wetherspoon hotel retains the name of the building first recorded in 1650 as the Globe Inn and is situated opposite the historic market place in the town centre. A historic Georgian coaching inn situated in the heart of Old King's Lynn, The Globe Hotel offers the best aspects of a modern hotel and bar. Our dj plays music in the bar until midnight on bank holiday Sunday's and until 1am every Friday and Saturday giving the lively atmosphere of Lloyds No1. If you prefer a quieter room, of which some are available, please specify this at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you. (Please note our family rooms are above the bar and the music will be heard). Relax in our beautiful gardens and watch the River Great Ouse slide by. We have 37 rooms in total, 19 Double rooms, 8 Twin rooms, 6 Single rooms and 3 family rooms. We also have 1 wheelchair -access room, situated near to the lift. All are en suite and include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and TV. FREE Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Breakfast is served from 7am every day with our current prices starting from £1.40. The kitchen serves food up until 11pm every night. We do not have our own car park but there is free on street parking available in the evenings and a long stay pay and display car park outside the hotel, £2.90 from 10am until 8am. The recently refurbished town centre is just two minute walk from the hotel with varied shops, new and traditional. This combined with the rich history of an ancient naval and market town make this an enjoyable place to visit. As for entertainment, The Corn Exchange Theatre is situated nearby as is the historic Guildhall. The recently refurbished Majestic Cinema is just five minute walk from the hotel. King's Lynn itself has much of historical interest to explore, while most visitors return to enjoy the nearby stunning countryside, including the west Norfolk coastline.
