Welcome to the Hunter Valley Resort, Hunter Farm & Adventure Centre. We are not a large international chain. We are an independent family business of +30 years with two generations still working the business every day. Getting to the Wine Country is easy: Take the Wine Train from Sydney; or by car - 2 hours drive north of Sydney; or 1 hour from Newcastle Airport (NTL - direct services to Gold Coast, Brisbane and Melbourne). The resort has its own taproom, restaurant, winetasting, wine & cooking schools, candymaking classes, Hunter Wine Theatre, plus a range of excellent four-star rooms and cottages. Families and couples welcome. Surrounded by 55-year-old shiraz vineyards, it was completely refurbished in 2020/21. The Hunter Farm & Adventure Centre activities include childrens activities like farm animals; horse-riding adventures; Carriage rides; Segway back country tour & electric bikes

The Resort is located at the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country just 2 hours drive north of Sydney. There are around 70 wineries to visit, and activities such as Hot Air Ballooning; Horse & Carriage Tours; Tandem Sky Diving; cafés; antiques, book and dress shops; plus much more. The resort is nestled amongst its own vineyards and incorporates a Wine Tasting Cellar and the Hunters largest winery.

San Martino (St Martin is the patron Saint of winemakers) serves breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea at Café San Martino. Set in bright courtyard, featuring a light Mediterranean menu, with alfresco dining .
