Brampton is almost entirely National Park - nothing but trees and ocean as far as the eye can see with seven pure white beaches surrounding the island. Children 12 years and under are not catered for on Brampton Island. SS1108

In the Cumberland group of islands, Brampton is 32 kms north-east of Mackay Airport at the entrance of the Whitsunday Passage off the Queensland coast. It is a 15 minute flight from Mackay to the Island or launch transfers are available daily (additional cost).
