Owned by an ardent collector of Southeast Asian art and antiques, the hotel was built to bring back to life the luxury and romance of Balinese and Javanese forgotten history. The main building features a distinctive architecture inspired by a secluded village in Central Bali, whereas some of the public areas are original hundreds-years-old structure entirely moved into the property.
