Built in 1943, this 9-storey, 353-room mansion was the first hotel in Shanghai to be fully funded, designed and constructed by the Chinese. Renovations in 2007 changed its facilities and décor, whilst maintaining its original look. Fully air-conditioned, the hotel welcomes guests into a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service and lift access.
