The city hotel was renovated in 2009 and offers 129 rooms. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. The hotel is located in Germany's most beautiful city, just outside of Hanover's city limits, 40 km northeast of Hanover. It is only 5 minutes from the mediaeval centre of the historical city of Celle and has very easy access to the A7 motorway (Hamburg-Hanover-Kassel) and the A2 motorway (Braunschweig-Berlin). It is 5 minutes from the train station and 100 m from the bus stop. It is just 35 minutes from the trade fair grounds and the airport.

The hotel serves a continental breakfast buffet and dinner can be enjoyed either as a buffet or à la carte.
