This historical hotel was built in the year 1860, however the tradition of hospitality, offering lodging to travellers passing through the Strathnairn Valley dates back much further. History reports that the Macgillivray clan gathered here before joining the Battle of Culloden in 1746. The charming family-friendly hotel features a garden and comprises a total of 9 rooms as well as a lobby. A comfortable lounge to the back of the premises offers guests a wonderful, panorama view over the valley and the hills of Strathnairn, from here guests may also observe a large number of wild animals. The cosy lounge bar, with its sloping beamed ceiling and stone walls is full of old world charm.
