The design of this club resort is based on the traditional timber longhouses of the region's native Iban Tribes. Facilities on offer include an entrance hall, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a restaurant. Younger guests are offered a playground. There is also a laundry service provided.
Situated in the federal state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo, the complex occupies 20-hectares of grounds on the shores of a spectacular mountain lake. It is surrounded by mountains and unspoiled rainforests and is 3 km from Fort Margherita. It is also a four-hour drive from the state capital and international airport at Kuching.
There is a restaurant on site, featuring traditional indigenous decor and serving a selection of Asian and western dishes, including fresh fish from the lake. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Wong Irup lounge is decorated with symbols of Sarawak's rich cultural past and serves a wide range of tropical thirst-quenchers and cocktails.
