This hacienda was built by the end of the 17th century (1684). Its name is due to its first owner, the Spanish Don Juan de Sepúlveda, who was given some lands by the Real Audiencia de la Nueva Galicia (local government), a total of 117 hectares of land which later turned into a fertile and sucessful farm. It was the meeting point of several guerrille men during the independence war. Restaured in 2001 and refurbished as a luxe boutique hotel it offers 15 rooms (6 confortabel suites and 9 large master suites).
Location: on the Camino Real a Zacatecas (Royal Route), 6 Km. from Lagos de Moreno, 40 Km. from Cuarenta Dam and 45 Km. from Leon.
