Built in 1906, this luxury hotel comprises a total of 178 rooms and 5 suites. Affording excellent services, dining and drinking options include a bar and 3 restaurants with non-smoking areas. Those arriving by car are able to make use of the public car park located nearby. The lobby is small, but leads into a large, comfortable lounge which is decorated in traditional style with chandeliers which are slightly at odds with the modern furniture. Massive windows give lovely views over the lake and beyond to the mountains.
Surrounded by fabulous alpine landscape, this grand hotel is situated directly on the promenade beside the Lake of Lucerne. The historical centre of Lucerne is only a few minutes walk away.
There are two restaurants. One caters mainly for hotel guests and the other is more exclusive serving only a la carte cuisine. The bar is very cosy with leather armchairs and is located within the public area.
