Manihi Pearl Beach Resort offers many lagoon excursions and activities. One of the most famous excursions is "Motu picnic", a picknick on a deserted island. The resort was renovated in 2005. The resort is located on Manihi, a 1h 15 min flight north from Tahiti. The island consists of a string of islets abundant with palm trees and magnificent white-sand beaches, surrounded by the South Seas emerald waters. The native treasure is the black pearl. This area is rich with a spectacular underwater world, natural islets (motu) and tranquil, serene magnificent spots.
