Built in the style of an Ottoman Inn, with the rooms overlooking a central courtyard with a water feature, natural wood was used extensively in the construction of the hotel along with 500 year old Ottoman details and motifs. For nature lovers it is a paradise, having a large garden leading down to the Azmak River and being surrounded by pine forests and the Sakar Tepe Mountains as a backdrop. An a la carte restaurant, bar, Turkish corner with waterpipe, sauna, internet room with library and meeting room are amongst the amenities offered. Located at the head of the Gulf of Gokova within a few hundred metres of Akyaka Beach in a sheltered bay, the hotel nestles by the riverbank of the Azmak River. Restaurants and a couple of bars line the seafront at the beach and local transport with links to the popular resort of Marmaris, 30km away run on a regular basis.
