Munich is not that far away from the Tropical Ocean! The huge fresh and saltwater aquarium Sea Life is open to the public in the famous Munich Olympic Park. Visitors follows a trail from the springs of the Isar in the Mountains to the Danube into the Black Sea and the Tropical Sea. On two levels the visitors get in close contact with the regional and tropical underwater world, but also get a deep view into the different natural systems. A "Must-see" at Sea Life Munich is the 400.000 litre tropical ocean tank with its 10 m. long underwater tunnel.

The park is located in Munich, next to the Olympic Park. By car, follow the signs to Mittlerer, direction Olympic Park. There you will find parking directions for SEA LIFE (maximum walking time: 5 minutes).Public transport: Metro line U3, direction Olympiazentrum. Follow the signs showing SEA LIFE Munich (about 10 minutes walk). There is coach parking near the Olympia Park, next to the ice rink.
